Healthcare Engagement Manager
Pakistan | Full Time | Experienced
Job Brief:
VentureDive is seeking a US-based Healthcare Engagement Manager to serve as the on-the-ground client-facing lead for a high-visibility data analytics engagement with a private equity–backed dermatology network (150+ locations, East Coast). The role bridges an offshore delivery team in Pakistan with a demanding PE client, translating clinical and business context into analytical direction and ensuring every deliverable meets client expectations before it ships.
This is not a delivery manager role. The person in this seat must bring domain expertise in US healthcare operations—ideally provider-side—and the consulting polish to present findings, manage stakeholder relationships, and make judgment calls on analytical framing without needing to write code themselves.

VentureDive Overview:
Founded in 2012 by veteran technology entrepreneurs from MIT and Stanford, VentureDive is the fastest-growing technology company in the region that develops and invests in products and solutions that simplify and improve the lives of people worldwide. We aspire to create a technology organization and an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region that is recognized as second to none in the world.

Core Functions
1. Domain Translation
  • Translate US healthcare business context (payer mix, referral patterns, provider scheduling, reimbursement models) into analytical requirements the offshore data science team can execute against
  • Review analytical outputs for clinical and business plausibility before they reach the client
  • Frame findings in language that resonates with PE operators and healthcare executives—not data scientists
  • Identify when an analysis “looks right technically but says the wrong thing” and redirect before delivery
2. Client Management
  • Own the weekly client relationship: run status calls, manage expectations, surface risks early
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the PE client’s operating team
  • Navigate the dynamics of a PE portfolio company transformation—understand urgency, ROI framing, and board-level reporting needs
  • Manage scope creep diplomatically while protecting the delivery team’s capacity
  • Present analytical findings in executive settings with confidence and clarity
3. Quality Gatekeeping
  • Review every client-facing deliverable (dashboards, reports, presentations, Excel models) for accuracy, framing, and narrative coherence
  • Doesn’t need to write code, but must be able to read an Excel model and ask “does this make sense?”
  • Catch framing errors, misleading visualizations, or conclusions that don’t hold up under scrutiny
  • Ensure deliverables tell a coherent story aligned with what the client actually needs to decide

Required Qualifications
  • 6–8 years of professional experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare analytics, or PE portfolio operations
  • Deep familiarity with US healthcare operations: provider scheduling, patient flow, revenue cycle, payer dynamics, multi-site clinic networks
  • Experience working directly with private equity clients or PE-backed healthcare companies
  • Strong executive communication skills: ability to present to C-suite and PE operating partners
  • Comfort working with offshore/distributed teams across time zones (team is Pakistan-based)
  • Analytical literacy: ability to critically evaluate Excel models, dashboards, and statistical outputs without needing to build them
  • US-based, available during Eastern Time business hours

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or healthcare-focused consultancy (Huron, Vizient, Advisory Board)
  •  Prior operating role at a PE-backed healthcare platform (operations, strategy, or analytics function)
  • Experience with dermatology, multi-specialty, or ambulatory care networks
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms (consumer, not builder)
  • Understanding of provider capacity modeling, appointment utilization, or scheduling optimization
  • MBA or MPH from a recognized program (not required but valued)
