Job Brief
We are looking for a motivated and curious Legal Intern to support our legal team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates with a strong interest in commercial and corporate law, particularly within the technology sector. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and a keen interest in understanding how in-house legal teams operate. The intern will have the opportunity to observe and assist on a variety of legal matters, including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and litigation support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Contract Review:
  Assist in Drafting, and reviewing various commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and partnership agreements.
  Assist in ensuring all contracts align with legal requirements and company policies.
   
• Legal Research on IT/Data/AI Issues:
  Assist in conducting thorough legal research on matters related to information technology, data protection, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
   
• Policy Making and Drafting:
  Assist in developing and drafting internal policies, including compliance protocols and corporate governance guidelines.
   
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Liaise with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and Central Depository Company (CDC).
  Assist in ensuring compliance with regulations applicable to public unlisted companies.
  Assist in managing filings, disclosures, and communications with regulatory bodies.
  Advise on risk mitigation strategies and legal implications of business decisions.
   
• Employment Law Compliance:
  Assist in Overseeing compliance with local employment laws, including SESSI, PESSI, and NIRC regulations
   
• Litigation Support:
  Assist in managing litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel.

Required Experience & Qualification:

• Enrolled in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution or Fresh Graduates
