Job Brief
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and a proven ability to work with and support Ruby-based systems. This role requires a versatile individual who can contribute across our full stack, from backend services to maintaining critical infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using the .NET Framework and .NET Core (C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, Web API).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns (e.g., SOLID, DRY, Dependency Injection).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing .NET applications.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance..
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, offering insights on both .NET and Ruby best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the team.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in both .NET and Ruby.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency (4+ years) in .NET development: C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Core, Web API.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with database technologies: SQL Server (design, T-SQL, optimization), ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework Core, NHibernate).
• Have basic understanding and knowledge of Ruby and can work (if needed) on Ruby based legacy system
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, modern JavaScript frameworks like React/Angular/Vue is a plus).
• Experience with version control systems (Git is a must).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and mocking frameworks.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
